Resolved Question: Honda Civic, First car for teen?
I am fifteen and will be turning 16 in a month. My parents are purchasing a third car for the family for me to use when I get my drivers license. When my sister gets her license, we will share the car. Anyway, they are going to purchase a 2007 Honda Civic with side curtain airbags. My parents have already laid out the ground rules for me when I get my license (no driving past 10 pm, no more than one friend in the car at a time, absolutely not texting or talking on the phone, etc). I will be responsible for paying for insurance and gas. Anyway, I have two questions. Is a Honda Civic a good car for a teen? Also, will I get a good student discount on my insurance? I have a 4.1 GPA and take all honors classes. Thanks for the help!

Resolved Question: Difficult situation with fake grades and car insurance! help!?
I’m about to be a Senior in High school and have been faking my grades for the past 2 years. When I get my report card, I scan it to the computer, digitally edit it to make it look like I have A’s and B’s, then give it to my parents. They get happy and even pay me hundreds of dollars for succeeding in school. When they ask how I’m doing in school and to, “Check my grades online”. I go online, screen print the actual page, and edit the grades so they appear as A’s and B’s. and play it off like that’s the real webpage, and those are my real grades.

I get away with it every time.

But now the time has come for me to be a driver. and I need to be insured. My parents have Geico as their car Insurance company. and there’s a discount for students who maintain a B average. my father said “Oh hey with your great grades you can get us a great discount on your insurance!” obviously, the insurance representatives will know a bullshit report card when they see one, and they can check my real grades through Parent-link, because they aren’t gullible and ignorant like my parents.

when my parents request to have the discount, the Insurance people will check the grades and say…

“Oh no, your son has D’s and F’s go fuck yourself”.

my parents will then discover I’ve been lieing to them and that i’ve been robbing them of their money for the past two years and I’ll go have to puss out and Off myself in the desert behind our home.

What the hell can I do so that My Parents don’t find out about my fake grades and I can still become an insured driver who can legally drive?
