Open Question: I think government run health care is better than some rich guy’s run health care.?
Which would you rather have taking care of your health? Your government or some guy that decided he wants to sell health insurance?
With government-run health care, Americans can buy health care from the reliable, never cheating government. Since it IS the government, the people taking care of the country, why wouldn’t they sell insurance to take care of its own people?
Progressive auto insurance customizes car insurance depending on your budget. The government can do the same thing. It’d be easy. You just show them your annual budget and they’ll customize a health care plan system just for you.
You’ve seen the commercials where it says the government will crush insurance businesses, which would probably be true, but in the long run, we’d have a good health plan from uncle sam, and if any health insurance company that thinks they have the balls to sell better health insurance, then let them. We’d have government, and probably 2 other non government health insurance competing for your insurance. No matter which one you decide you like better, they’d all be good. Yes it’ll crush small insurance but that would be for the better. No one want’s Rick’s Quick Health Insurance.
In conclusion, we’d have the choices of government health care or a couple other guy’s that think they can do better’s health insurance.
I go with my government.
If america is so terrible at handling something simple like health insurance then maybe the terrorists are right.

Hello, I am in Ontario, Canada
I was in bad luck today so I hit somebody’s car in a parking lot. It was not very bad. The side fender was bended a bit. But I was not sure whether it affected surroundings. So I did not run away, instead I looked for the owner. I found him and he understood my background so we decided to deal with this privately.
We went to two body shops to make a quote on the damage of his car. Two different body shop, one is like a dealership-certified and the other one is more like private business, have almost estimated the same price: one is 638 after 100 discount and the other is 600 (cash payment).
In terms of money, I definitely went for $600 and the other party agreed on this. So we went to the bank and I got her a money order with a receipt held by me now.
It seems everything has been settled.
But I am still worrying if she later finds out and even prove (says, she is not a lair) there is another dent on the side door due to this accident and she asked for more money, says 100 or 200 more, because it is needed to repair for that part, on top of the $600 we agreed earlier.
So I am wondering, in laws or insurance rules, whether she would even have this option to ask for another 100 or 200 from me. Or whether she would have an option to report to her insurance company if I refused to pay for the extra.
I was so careless that I did not ask for a letter written and signed for the settlement. Would it be a big problem? But I got a money order receipt in her name.
I appreciate the following responses.

Okay, well I’m 16 and guess what? I can’t get my license until I get a job that pays $. My parents can’t afford for me to get my license because of the price of insurance. Yeah, they claim young, inexperienced drivers cause more wrecks but that’s not why the insurance companies jack insurance prices through the roof. They do that because they can. Anyway, I live in a semi-small town, but it has quiet a few businesses in which people my age can work for. I’ve put in so many applications, called the places and everything.
I’m just really stressed out, and have no idea where to turn. Because I can’t get my license or a car until I get some money, which I can’t get without a job because I’m not like a lot of people around here who’s my age which were born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
Not happy with Mozy right now. I had more than 250GB of stuff backed up that suddenly seems to have gone *poof*. It took months to get all that uploaded… Waiting to hear back from their CS people but if the answer is “sorry your data will have to be uploaded again” I’m finding another service that’s more reliable.
