Open Question: USAA Auto Insurance Car not Listed?
I am trying to purchase auto insurance through USAA overseas “spangdahlem germany”
on a 1997 BMW 320i that i am purchasing
I have a copy of the title and a bill of sale
when im going through the menu’s everything comes up fine until i get to VIN and year/make/model
the vin is not recognized and according to them there is no 320i in 97 only a 318i and a 328i
is it ok to select one of those? i called USAA and there is no one available to help international until monday
Open Question: Graduation of the Marine Corp Boot Camp?
My boyfriend will be graduating from the boot camp in about two months. My understanding is that he will only be issued one graduation packet, however i read on a marie corp website that friends and family may be admitted without such after presenting their driver’s license, registration and a prove of insurance. Does anyone know how does it work?
Now here’s where things get tricky – I am from Europe. Going to the graduation would be complete surprise for him and his family 
as we “decided” the trip would be too expensive for me to come just for a week, however I would love to surprise him.
This would be my questions – can one enter Parris Island on an european ID or a passport, i can rent a car here on an international driver’s license – would that be enough? also, since I want to keep it a surprise untill the very end – can I enter without the family with the pass or would i have to sort of “come along” with them in order to get in?
The trip would be quite expensive and i want to make sure that getting to the graduation is possible.
I’ve been doing my research but can’t find clear answer. Thank you for your help!
