Resolved Question: What would be the best car to buy?
Hi, I’m 17 years old, and I’m in the market for a good car that I can easily modify. Don’t worry, I’m not going to rice out my car, I just want a car that is easy to maintain, and has some tasteful upgrades for it. Obviously, muscle cars are kind of out of the question for me, because of insurance, although I’m dying for one lol. Regardless, I am looking for cars no older then 1999, because I don’t want anything older then 10 years right now. My price range is about 7k, and I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I’m fine with american made, and import, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the support guys!

PS

I have been thinking about getting a 2000+ gti vr6. They are in my price range, and they seem pretty easy to modify, and quick as well. Reliability is a question, but all cars die at some point, let me know what you think.

FriendFeed Something I’ve never understood: taking money from the populous voluntarily via taxes (and it is voluntary, you chose to live in the US) and distributing it amongst a large portion of the populous = bad. Taking money from the populous voluntarily via spending and redistributing that money to a microscopic portion of the populous = good *confused*
