Voting Question: should i move out the house and on campus?
I have three credit card bills totalling about 1400 dollars and a huge cellphone bill totaling 158.46. i have no job and will not have a job until late august because i have federal workstudy. i will be paid minum wage which by then will be 7.25. i live in georgia. I would get paid every two weeks or maybe every week for the whole year. im struggling to find a job now and im struggling to pay my bills. my parents pay my biklls, put gas in my car, and pay my insurance. i desperately want to move out, but my bilkls worry me. i also have refund money coming to me but i wont get that til october and i have to pay a 200 room reservation fee but i cant afford to pay that until workstudy starts. i would love the freedom and independence but financially i worry should i use the money i was going use to live on campus to pay my bills then try again??????
Voting Question: How can i get car insurance on a car that is not in my name or my husbands name?
Our car (or my husbands car you might say) is “legally” my father-in-law’s because its registered in his name. My husband’s car insurance is also under his father, but his name is on his father’s insurance policy. (so its my husbands car insurance, but his father is the main one on the policy… he’s under his fathers car insurance more or less)
The car is registered in Georgia, and the insurance is an out-of-state insurance from Georgia but it insures us down here in Florida (where we live). He has Allstate insurance.
How do i come about getting car insurance on our car? I’d have to get it myself… i don’t think they want me going under their policy (or whatever it is you call it)… id have to get it on my own.
Would it cost a lot more because i’m doing it this way?

Resolved Question: police k9 dog screwed my car up.?
Me and my friend were following my parents home from vacation in palm beach, we were almost home to Georgia I was about to get into Georgia so I passed my parents and sped home. I got pulled over not even 10 minutes since I passed them and he said I was going 92 in a 45 (it was a speed zone) so it was 45 then 65. But anyways he pulls me over I give him my license and insurance etc.. then he says to step out f the car, I was like why? it was just a speeding stop. He said I looked nervous and asked if I had any drugs in the car I said no but I have my parents beer in my luggage he says okay. Then he asked to search and I told him no, I wanted to go home and I had to take a piss. so he calls in a k9 because he thinks theres drugs in my car.. We waited like 15 minutes for the k9 unit to get there and the dog went around my car scratched the hell out of it from jumping on it. They said the dog was signaling there was drugs in there. so they tore my car up left stuff where it wasn’t took all my luggage out and didn’t put it back. we waited a hour while they searched. they claimed to find a “stem” but they didn’t show us so I kept telling them there wasn’t anything in there but they persisted to search. He wrote me a 261 dollar ticket for speeding took our beer and told us we could go, by then it was a hour and a half into this ordeal I looked at the scratches on my car from the dog, then had to put all my luggage and stuff they left out back and went home. Is this not a load of BS? they pretty much charged my 261 dollars and vandalized my car. what can I do?
What about the hour and a half of time the wasted? can’t they only keep you for like 20 minutes or something like that?
Yeah my cars not old tho got it a year ago 20grand 4runner, now its scratched up because they “thought” I had weed.
Yeah if they would have planted that shit I would have been so pissed, probably woulda had to bust out that ak 
haha jk. They thought I had a gun too like wtf? did they think I was a damn drug smuggler?
sure I was speeding, I knew I was. I would have gladly paid the damn ticket. But he took it way further than it should have gone, drugs? when there was nothing in the car? give me a break.
No I was respectful, I always am if your a dick they’ll give you a higher fine or be a dick back. I know how the game goes.

My fiancee and I are planning a road trip next month down to Georgia (no fiddle required) for a wedding. On the way back we’re hitting Raleigh, Virginia Beach, DC, and Philly. We’re considering renting a car for the trip instead of taking my 5 year old Hyundai. The estimate I received from Hertz is $250. Do you think this would be a good idea?
